SquishPic is designed with your privacy in mind. All image processing happens locally on your Mac - your images are never uploaded to any server.
Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data.
- No analytics or tracking
- No crash reports sent to external servers
- No usage statistics collected
- No account registration required
Image Processing
All image compression is performed entirely on your device:
- Images are processed locally using macOS native APIs
- Compressed images are saved to your Pictures folder
- Original images are never modified or deleted
- No images are transmitted over the internet
In-App Purchases
SquishPic Pro is available as a one-time in-app purchase:
- All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store
- We do not have access to your payment information
- Purchase status is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework
Third-Party Services
SquishPic does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
Data Storage
SquishPic stores only the following data locally on your device:
- App preferences (compression quality, output format, etc.)
- Recent compression history (file names only, not the actual images)
This data is stored in the app's sandboxed container and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Children's Privacy
SquishPic does not collect any personal information and is safe for users of all ages.
